Gentofte kindergarten is an absolutely fantastic place, which I can warmly recommend to those of you who are looking for a good and safe kindergarten in beautiful surroundings. The number of children is very comfortable, not too big and not too small. The staff group is competent, stable, skilled, sweet and caring, and so is the manager. The atmosphere is good and you will always be able to drop off your child in a calm environment in the morning. The kindergarten's playground is not the largest, but there are still many options, from a large sandbox, bird's nest swing, large climbing frame with balance training, arm walking (the children quickly get used to it!) and a fun slide and bike lanes, etc. Next to the kindergarten is a very large ball field, which is also often used, and nearby there are several really good playgrounds, which they often go on trips to, as well as Lake Gentofte. When the weather is bad - or the children simply want it, then up on the 1st floor in the house there is the coolest gymnasium / exercise room with various delicious tumbling furniture, swings etc.! A HUGE plus, especially in the cold months when the weather isn't quite as fun to be outside in, so the kids can still burn off a lot of gunpowder in a cool way and at the same time be challenged with their motor skills. We came from a super kindergarten in Copenhagen and didn't think it could get any better. It turned out to be a mistake, as Gentofte nursery tops all points! A really, really good choice for a nice, cozy and safe nursery school with lots of good experiences for the children both in the house and out on various trips, including a fixed farm tour and theater tour(s), possibility for home birthdays, cozy kindergarten parties ( summer party, flower days, Christmas fun etc.) and other lovely traditions. We were a little afraid that the children would have to bring packed lunches. You shouldn't be so afraid of that - it's both very good to get used to it a bit before the child goes to school and then it gives you a good feel for what the child eats during the day, etc. And the kindergarten is happy to heat up the leftovers from yesterday's dinner, if that is what the child has brought. In addition, you are always (relatively) sure that the child will get some food to eat that he/she really likes. :island) The best choice of kindergarten! ******

Nice place where both the children and the parents feel at home. Beautiful surroundings, inspiring activities, focus on exercise, movement, music, safety and care.
