L’Ecole Koenig is a true gem. If you walk by in the morning you would see happy children running inside as soon as the doors are open. It’s the school you wish you had gone to as a child. It’s our fifth year at the school, first with our eldest, now with our second and there’s no doubt our third child will go there as well! Along with the normal curriculum the children learnt about different countries, cultures and are excited to sing in so many languages! And not only the kids are happy, we have a great community of parents which is so important as expats. The priority of the teachers and staff is the well being of the children, communication is very easy and we feel very involved in the school life. We highly recommend L’Ecole Koenig!!!!

Ecole Koenig Musical Preschool in Paris has been an absolute gem for our family! Our three children attended this wonderful establishment, and we couldn't be happier with the enriching experience they gained. From the moment we stepped into the vibrant and welcoming environment, it was evident that this preschool is truly unique. The teachers at Ecole Koenig are not only highly qualified professionals but also passionate individuals who genuinely care about each child's development. They foster a warm and nurturing environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning.Our children looked forward to each day, excited to explore the world of music and education that awaited them. The curriculum seamlessly blends musical activities with traditional education, enhancing cognitive, social, and emotional growth. The performances our children participated in were delightful showcases of their newfound skills and confidence ( and so much fun for us parents to watch). Most impressive was the original music used every day by the school, especially designed to make learning so much fun for the children. Communication between the school and parents is excellent. We truly felt like we were part of a family. Regular updates, and open lines of communication have made us feel involved in our children's educational journey. The sense of community among parents, teachers, and students is truly heartwarming. Ecole Koenig Musical Preschool has not only provided our children with a solid educational foundation but has also instilled in them a lifelong appreciation for music and learning. We wholeheartedly recommend this preschool to any parent seeking an incredibly enriching and joyful start to their child's educational journey. Our child attended École Koenig from TPS to MS so far. We are very happy with his experience there. We feel the team go above and beyond to make every day exciting, fun, and highly educational. The pedagogy based on music has worked wonderfully to gently acclimate our child to life in a group/class (patience, listening quietly but ALSO importantly: participating nonetheless, civility, kindness to all…) We would recommend it warmly to parents who value confidence and early learning. The small groups allow for great progress. We particularly like the rythm of the days (circle all together, workshops in small groups, snack, workshops, lunch, park), the small size and spirit of group solidarity that comes from it (being kind to everyone is a motto), the “show and tell” and shows that encourage public speaking, the crazy science experiments!!!, and mostly the quality of the team whose feedback is very helpful in suggesting -if needed- some little things you can do to help your child grow (re: shyness, impatience…). Our child loves going to school, grows, sings, and learns lots… we couldn’t be more grateful.

We've never seen kids happier than those attending L'Ecole Koenig to go to school. We've never felt safer than knowing to have our daughter with Koenig teachers and in its environment. It's not only a school. It is a unique and special environment filled with continuous support and kindness, something highly precious to our daughter and the whole family. They take care of the children (in an excellent way, btw) not only as students but as people. We couldn't have asked for more than having such caring teachers and a warm ambience surrounding our daughter during these first and fundamental years of her development/educational process. TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH THIS SCHOOL!

Our experience at Koenig has been absolutely stellar from the curriculum to the one-of-kind music program, the nurturing education team and the director Alix. Having visited and interviewed at bilingual schools across Paris and the Yvelines region, Ecole Koenig is a stand-out school that offers a balanced education. Our daughter is thrilled to walk through the doors of Koenig every morning! As an anglophone family, we are impressed with how fast she is learning and speaking French. Since beginning Koenig, she is writing and doing math calculations in both English and French. Her confidence has soared! She sings constantly and is learning to play music which has boosted her academic learning. The field trips she has taken have been exceptional with visits over the first three months of the school year to UNESCO, Ferme de Gally, and an outing to see a play. She also has weekly dance, acting, and Mandarin classes which are part of the main curriculum. There is a true family feeling to the parents community of Koenig— it is a truly inclusive environment. We have found there to be excellent and frequent communication with the teachers and school director, which is deeply reassuring as a parent. Koenig is doing what no other school models are doing and it has enriched our daughter’s education, life and happiness deeply. We are thrilled to be staying at Koenig as they expand into Elementary!
