Reflecting on my time at AMADEUS International School Vienna as a Diploma Programme (DP) student, I am filled with gratitude for the multifaceted education and experiences that have shaped me into a global citizen. The rigorous International Baccalaureate curriculum at AMADEUS challenged me to think critically and engage deeply with a diverse range of subjects allowing me to pursue my passions at an early age. The dedicated faculty provided personalized attention, fostering an environment where intellectual curiosity thrived. This academic foundation has been instrumental in preparing me for future endeavors. Immersive Music Programme A standout feature of AMADEUS is its integrated Music and Arts Academy. Participating in this programme allowed me to hone my singing through individualized instruction and performance opportunities. The emphasis on music not only enriched my artistic abilities but also instilled discipline and creativity, qualities that permeated all areas of my studies. Residing in the newly constructed Pfeiffer House was a privilege. The modern, comfortable rooms, each equipped with en-suite bathrooms and study spaces, provided a conducive environment for both rest and study. The boarding community, guided by caring house parents, fostered a sense of independence while ensuring we felt supported. Regular interactions, including sports and recreational activities organized with the boarding staff, strengthened our bonds and promoted a healthy lifestyle. With students hailing from over 60 nationalities, AMADEUS is a melting pot of cultures. This diversity enriched my educational experience, providing daily opportunities to learn from peers with different perspectives. The school's commitment to inclusivity prepared me to navigate and appreciate the complexities of our globalized world. There is a reason why the other international schools in Vienna have better DP results and why there is a waiting list for them. Maybe for the Music is a good school but be really careful if you are focusing on another major, eg Math. Unqualified teachers and terrible management is all this school is about. As a parent, I would do more research before sending my kid there.
